The North American Chapter of the St. Francois Girls’ College Alumnae aims to be an extension of the Trinidad and Tobago Association, as we all work toward the shared goal of providing assistance to the school and its students.

The NA Chapter identified the following goals during a meeting with the national association, which took place on June 28, 2018:

  1. Provide support abroad to SFGC graduates who migrate to the United States to study. The objective is to match students with past students in their state who will serve as a point of contact in case any assistance needed.
  2. Provide internship opportunities for those who will be studying abroad and will not be returning home during the vacation periods.
  3. Assist with the placement of students after they complete their university studies.
  4. Work with Camille Wardrop Alleyne as she strives to make St. Francois Girls’ College a centre of excellence through the use of IT.

The NA Chapter also seeks to inspire and encourage other Alums in Canada and Europe to form similar associations so as to wider our reach internationally, which will be incredibly beneficial to our alma mater and our Little Sisters.
